Dear Maam,

We are writing this letter to express our concern about your pending decision for us to start executing the
construction of revetment along Matina River, Davao City. The project's implementation has been approved
by the Department of Public Works and Highways and the notice to proceed has been issued last March 10,
2020.

We understand your uncertainty about this project. But we assure you that the project's completion will be
in your favor. With the revetment, flooding and soil erosion along the river banks will be avoided caused by
heavy rains. This will prevent damages of your properties and loss of lives of residents near the area.

We humbly request your permission to start the clearing and grubbing along the riverbank in the first week
of June 2020 which includes the removal of trees and obstruction. The bunkhouse of our workers has been
completed a couple of months ago. We are just standing by and all we need to proceed is your formal
consent for us to begin immediately.

In addition to that, we would like to follow up on the necessary documents for the processing of the
payment. Please feel free to connect with us for questions and clarifications regarding this matter.
