Describe an angry situation.

What I dislike most in people is when they do not keep their word. I faced with many encounters
with such people and I must say, I find it most unpleasant.

I usually keep my word. If I find that I am not able to because of curtain circumstances, I make it a
point to tell the so that they will not feel let down. Many people say something and do
something else. What is worse is that they do not even apologise.

There was once where an uncle of mine, who works as an electrician-cum-plumber, promised my
dad to fix our leaking pipes in the washroom. He has a “ever-ready” smiling face who would reply
“no problem” to any request made to him. When we require his serviced, we would ring him up
and invariably (in every case), his answer will be “no problem”.

My father gave him a call a month ago and he promised to come the next day. After failing to
show up for three days, we rang him up again and with a mere phrase, “I forget”, he will again say
“no problem” to us. Finally, he turned up after 10 days, when we texted him numerous times after
all our calls went into the voice mail.

With a family of four to bear, my father insisted to give him a chance and engaged him for his
service in order to earn some extra money. It if was me, I would have engaged somebody else’s
service. After taking a full day to mend a simple “DIY” leaking pipe, he demanded a fee of RM200
courteously, of which my father obliged. Before he left, he borrowed my father’s crash-helmet,
promising to return it the same evening. He never did return the helmet, expectedly.

When asked, he denied that he ever borrowed the helmet. What @X$#? My father decided to let
the matter rest as it was an old helmet not worth arguing over. It showed how untrustworthy a
man could become. His words mean nothing. It has no value at all.

Two days ago, my mother felt something amiss and she whispered words to my father’s ear,
without my knowledge. When I rewound the CCTV footage, I was shocked and furious when I
witnessed my uncle sneakingly took my mother’s purse and put it into his pocket !

As furious as a hornet losing its sting, I dashed into the washroom and washed my face,
contemplating what to tell my parents since they believe in helping my uncle so much. Only then,
I started to realise something from a dripping sound. The pipes my uncle installed were faulty
items !
