Absence Process

 Define group personnel sub-areas for attendance & absences


 Define absence types with absence input, minimum duration and maximum
duration
 Determine entry screens and time constraint classes for absence type
 Define counting classes for the period work schedule to determine absence
days
 Define group employee sub-groups for time quotas
 Define group personnel sub-areas for time quota
 Define absence quota types for entitlement using the ESG grouping and
PSG grouping with time units and time constraint classes
 Permit generation of quotas in time evaluation for calculating absence
entitlement using scenarios no generation, increase , replace etc,.
 setup personnel sub-area groupings for time recording
 Determine rules for generating absence quota,
Such as Determination Of Quota Type Selection Rule Group
(QUOMO),
base entitlement for absence quota generation with related period,
determine validity and deduction periods for absence quota,
define generation rules for quota type selection using ESG grouping
and PSG grouping which is already determined previously,
Determine selection rules for absence quotas such as applicability,
accrual period and assign base entitlement for selection rules using
the groupings as ESG grp, PSG grp, PSG for time recording and quota
type selection group
 Define group employee sub-groups for the personnel calculation rule and
collective agreement provision
 Give the transaction code as “PA30” in command bar
 Give the employee no. and 0007 in info type field
 Click on change
 Now setup the time management status as 0  No time evaluation
 0 is useful to generate the absence quotas through report RPTQTA00
 Click on save

Run the report for Quota Generation

 Now give the transaction code as “SE38” and Program RPTQTA00


 Click on execute
 select the direct and click on execute
 Find the message below the screen as “the Absence Quota generated
successfully”

Check the Quota in Info type 2006 –Absence Quota

 Go for the transaction code “PA30”


 Give the personnel number and info type 2006 in info type field
 Select the radio button  All from period
 Click on overview
 Here you see the all generated absence quotas

Define Counting Rule:

Once the Quota generated then we go for define the counting rules

 Define deduction rules for absence quotas


Such as Unit Of Relevant Absence Quota Types,
Assign absence quota type for counting,
Quota Type Sequence For Further Deductions and Deduction Priority
 Define Counting rule
Conditions For Current Day: Like Weekday, Holiday Type and Day
Type,
Conditions for Work Schedule: Counting class for PWS, Daily work
schedule class,
Condition For Planned Hours: Planned working hours = 0, PWH
Greater than 0,
Condition For Absence/Attendance: Less than 1 day, Full day,
Counting: Days, Hours – Quota multiplier,
Deduction Rule: Absence Quotas- Within entitlement
