Title: Heart-Shaped Locket

Scope & Content / Abstract:
Sterling silver, heart shaped locket.

The front displays a smaller solid heart shape on the inside with flowed vines creating a heart shape around the inner heart. Originally,
there was black painted lining between the vines and inner heart, but most of it has chipped away.

The back is very rusted, and contains a hard to see engraving that says "Love Pap & Gram."

The inside is dirty, has green tarnish, and contains an image of Haley and her brother as children. Haley is less than a year old, and her
brother is 3 in the image.

is called verdigris. It's the natural patina that forms when

time, and since Haley used to wear this everyday, it came
into contact with moisture such as sweat quite often.
