The Monster 797 takes inspiration from its roots
and injects a modern twist. This shines through in
the personality, style and sports look of the circular
headlight with LED positioning lights, the slim
tailpiece and unmistakeable tank that reintroduces
the fastening hook seen on early models. Traditional
elements such as the trellis frame and cooling fins
of the Desmodue twin are combined with state-of-
the-art components, making the Monster 797 both
contemporary and iconic.
Agility
and control
73 horsepower, 6.8 Kgm of torque at 5,750 rpm: with
fluid, constant, easy to manage delivery, the 803 cc
Desmodue twin is ideal for enjoyable sports riding.
The torque curve is almost flat, with 90% of the torque
available between 4,000 and 8,500 rpm, ensuring
maximum riding enjoyment with full delivery at any
speed, always ready to fulfil a rider’s every request.

design
The design of the Monster 797 is all about
lines that are agile and dynamic, elegant
and muscular, integrating perfectly with
the wide handlebar, the tank, the engine
and the double-sided swingarm. Lines that
emphasise its safety and sporty nature right
from first glance. It has a distinct style, with
structural details that become true design
elements, such as the traditional Ducati
trellis frame. An essential and sophisticated
bike, where every element is an expression
of stylistic and technical research.
The Monster 797, featuring the sport front
fairing and the passenger seat cover as
standard equipment, is available in the
colours Star White Silk and Ducati Red,
embellished with graphics on the tank and
seat and pinstripes on the wheels.

The Monster 797 boasts a modern and
complete range of equipment. The large
LCD hi-vis screen of the dashboard provides
all the information needed for riding, while
LED technology enhances the positioning
light of the front headlight, rear light and
licence plate light. Under the seat is a
practical USB port for recharging a phone.
The Monster 797 is also available for those
with a restricted licence, as a version with 35

The Monster 797 is perfect for those approaching the

Ducati world, and the bike world in general, for the first
time while, at the same time, also offering more expert
riders a truly enjoyable riding experience. The low and
narrow seat, wide handlebars and wide steering angle
ensure agility in traffic and stability at high speed.
The 43 mm upside down fork, fully adjustable single
shock, braking system with 320 mm front discs and
Brembo M4.32 radial callipers all provide great feeling,
whatever a rider’s level of experience. The compact
measurements and reduced wheelbase ensure great
handling in both the changes of direction and in corner
entry, while ABS as standard makes sports riding even
more exciting and safe.
