Tips: What to Do?

The comprehensive in MTM/PhDTM consist of integrative questions to Area III and IV (Major
subjects/Cognates and Basic Subject (Foundation, etc.,). For Area I and II (Statistics and Research) it is
focus on context.

The coverage for Area III (Foundation of Technical Vocational Education, Management of
Technology and Quality Control Management.

-For foundation of TVEP, it will always state the question What is? and the significant
contribution to the delivery of the quality instruction in TVEP institutions/organizations.

-Highlight specific theories/concepts in Management of Technology practice evident in your

institution/organization. Cite/enumerate said concepts/theories.

-State the development of TVEP in the Philippines and Cite specific contriobution to the 21 st
century skills/Industry 4.0

-What is TQM (Total Quality Management) and the consequences of “poor quality”? Highlight
example.

-Discuss at least two (2) philosophies of quality gurus and their contributions to the
organization/industry setting.

-Enumerate at least three (3) common statistical process control (spc) tools practice/use in your
organization/institution and discuss how they are used in “problem solving” and in “process
improvement”.

Area IV (Consists of Personnel Management/Environmental/Financial Management)

-Focus questions is: “Define management and highlight the functions of management according
to “Gurus” “Experts”, such as; a) Fayol b.) Gulick and others.

- Technology Management is important to achieve organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Highlight specific contribution of environmental education and management, quality control
management and safety management in your organization/institution.

- You are designated project manager of a depressed barangay tasked to prepare project
proposal for livelihood program for six (6) months.

*Prepare financial plan for three (3) years

*Cite basic consideration and justification with close reference to the aspects of
financial management and overall financial strategies.

* Prepare mini proposal for the implementation of a livelihood training program for
product benefiaciaries.
