1. I believe censorship of books and movie is one of the most controversial issue, but I
think it is fine, because there are book and movies which has different topics only for
teens or adults.
2. I don’t agree with compulsory military service, because there are people who hate it
and they don’t want to do this service, but I know that there are countries where you
have to do this, and if you don’t do it, you will be in prison.
3. I totally disagree with lowering the driving age, because I consider that 18 years old is
an excellent age to get a driver license since when you are eighteen, you are more
responsible than when you have sixteen.
4. I disagree with raising the voting age, because I think when you have eighteen years
old, you can relate with the situation of you country, also you are consider an adult
and you can take important decision like choosing a person who represents you in the
politics context.
5. I think prohibiting smoking indoor was a wonder decision, because there are people
who hate the smoke of the cigarettes and it affects them.

1. Do you think it is possible to end corruption, or do you feel that it is a part of
human nature? Use specific examples in your discussion
I think it is possible to end the corruption, but I think when the people feel power,
they changed their mind. For example, during the pandemic in Ecuador, we found out
cases of corruption like excessive prices in public purchases. To my mind, the best
option to fight corruption is change the laws in our country.

2. What are some of the causes of poverty, and what are its effects?
There are many causes of poverty, ranging from catastrophic natural events to bad
economic and agricultural policies. People don’t have the essential products to live, I
think it is one the most important problem around the world. Also, if we don’t fight
the corruption and change the bad government policies, we won’t have solutions for
this problem.

3. What reasons do people have to hate other groups? Is hatred of another group
ever understandable, appropriate, or justified? Explain the reasons for your
opinion
They are insecure people because they want to hurt with their comments. In addition,
ignorance and lack of information towards other ethnic groups and cultures are causes
of discrimination.
