1. Describe the relationship between the processing portion of a system flowchart and a program flowchart.

The processing portion of the system flowchart describes the tasks to be performed on the data. These tasks are defined
further in the program flowchart. The program flowchart shows the logic used by the computer to perform the
processing task.

2. Data flow diagrams are really a hierarchical set of diagrams: from context level down to the primitive level. Describe the
purpose of the context diagram.

The context level diagram sets the boundaries of the system to be modeled. It typically has only one process, and that
process's name usually includes the word system. Since data stores are not shown on the context level diagram, the
