2. Free Admission to HS (Arts), HS (Science), BA (Honours), BA (Regular), BSc (Honours), BSc


(Regular) will be applicable for students who are domicile of Assam. Students who are not domicile of
Assam have to pay the requisite amount at the time of admission.

3. HS (Commerce), BBA, BSc (IT) and MSc Courses are self-financed courses. Hence the provision
for free admission is not applicable for these programs.

4. The Merit List for Admission to BA and BSc courses are prepared on the basis of marks obtained in
three of the subjects the student has performed best. However, for getting Honours in a particular subject,
different procedure is being followed and the same will be stated in the college website.

5. Students who take admission into BA (Regular) or BSc (Regular) cannot opt for honours in a subject
under normal circumstance. If however, honours seat in a subject lies vacant, they will get the benefit of
applying for honours in that subject in accordance with the conditions laid down by each department.

6. BA (Regular) and BSc (Regular) students can avail the facility of certificate courses being offered in the
college.

7. Students who get selected for admission in different courses must submit “Unique Id” provided by
the Directorate of Higher Education, Govt. of Assam, at the time of admission. Students can get the
unique id by clicking in the link http://dheonlineadmission.amtron.in/sp/
