1. Summer term 2020 for the graduating students will run parallel with the 2020-21-I Semester in the
Flipped Classroom Blended Mode.

2. Lectures will be held on the following Saturdays and Holidays with the schedule of the days
mentioned against them:

2019-20-II Semester:

a) Saturday, February 29, 2020 Monday schedule will be followed.

b) Saturday, June 20, 2020 Tuesday schedule will be followed.
c) Saturday, June 27, 2020 Wednesday schedule will be followed.
d) Saturday, July 4, 2020 Friday schedule will be followed.

Summer Term (2020):

a) Saturday, May 30, 2020 Monday schedule will be followed.

b) Saturday, June 13, 2020 Monday schedule will be followed.
c) Saturday, August 1, 2020 Monday schedule will be followed.
d) Saturday, August 8, 2020 Tuesday schedule will be followed.

2020-21-I Semester: None

3. If the requisite number of lectures cannot be scheduled, the instructors may, in consultation with the
students in their respective courses, decide on a schedule of extra classes. The requisite number of
lectures in a full semester course is 40 lectures of 50 minutes each for 3-lectures a week schedule.

4. There will be no extra classes on Gazetted Holidays.

5. No class, quiz, presentation, or any other academic activity will be scheduled on April 18, 19 July
10, 11, July 11, 12 September 5 and November 14, 15, 2020.

6. Saturdays and Sundays falling within the examination period will be used for scheduling
examinations. Under extraordinary circumstances, examinations of some of the courses may be
scheduled on the days preceding the mid semester/end semester examinations.

7. Lectures for Modular Courses offered in first half of the semester/summer term will commence on
January 2, May 19 August 1 and July 28, 2020 whereas lectures for Modular Courses offered in
second half of the semester/summer term will commence on February 24, June 17 August 20 and
September 21, 2020.

8. For Modular Courses offered in the first half of the semester/summer term, the final examinations
will be conducted during February 17-22, 2020, June 15 - 16, 2020 August 19 and September 14 -
19, 2020. For Modular Courses offered in the second half of the semester/summer term, the final
examinations will be conducted during April 20 - 29, 2020 Jul 12-19, 2020, July 13 - 14, 2020
September 6 and November 16 - 25, 2020.

9. The make-up examinations for the end-semester exams permitted by the SUGC/SPGC will be
conducted by the concerned instructors in charge as per the Academic Calendar. The make-up
examinations of the modular courses scheduled in the first half of the semester shall be conducted
before the last date of showing Mid-Semester answer scripts of the respective semester on a
mutually convenient day and time.
