Cause Correction

Inspect the air compressor cylinder head 
Air compressor cylinder head is cracked 
and gasket. Refer to the manufacturer's 
or porous, or has a leaking gasket 
instructions and specifications. 

Check the lubricating oil cooler for 
Lubricating oil cooler is leaking   coolant leaks. Refer to Procedure 007-
007. 

Check for combustion gases in the 
Combustion gases are entering the 
cooling system. Refer to Procedure 008-
cooling system 
019. 

Pressure-test the cooling system. Refer 
Heat exchanger core leaks internally 
to Procedure 008-018.

Pressure-test the cylinder head. Refer to 
Cylinder head is cracked or porous 
Procedure 002-004. 

Remove the oil pan. Pressure-test the 
Cylinder liner is corroded or cracked, or 
cooling system to check for leaks. Refer 
the cylinder block is cracked or porous 
to Procedure 001-028. 

Inspect the cylinder block. Refer to 
Cylinder block is cracked or porous 
Procedure 001-026.
