He could be own the cat.

I could say it's winter because the mountains have a lot of snow even though it's a
sunny day and it's obvious that the temperature is low because the man wears a
jacket, gloves and pants

the scene is beautiful, it presents a beautiful passage, a perfect day for outdoor
activities
