Due to various quarantine measures imposed by governments around the world, certain
industries have been affected much more than others.

As only businesses involved in the value chain of essential commodities are

operational, the rest of the in

dustries need to evaluate how they will respond to business unusual. The existing
business continuity plans may not be sufficient to address the fast-changing variables
presented by COVID-19.

President Rodrigo R. Duterte. recognizing that COVID-19 constitutes a threat to national

security anñ prompting a whole-of-government approach in addressing the outbreak,
declared a State of Public Health emergency throughout the entire Philippines through
Proclamation No. 522.
.the IATF recommended that guidelines be isaued by the different government agencies to
provide policy directions for the public and stakeholders in complying with Government
regulations following the modification of ECQ.
The guidelines are ismed to .assist private institutions that are allowed to operate
during the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) and General Community Quarantine
(GCQ) in developing the minimum health protocols and standards in light of the COVID-
19 pandeniic.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Cebu Port Authority (CPA) continues to serve by making sure
that movement and transport of cargoes, basic and essential goods, medical supplies and other
necessities through our ports remain unhampered.
However, with Cebu City now under Enhanced Community Quarantine, passenger travels for Locally
Stranded Individuals inbound and outbound Cebu Baseport remain suspended.
