The line graph provides data on how much money each people living in Aspirana spent on three
categories of books over a span of 20 years, starting in 1995.

Overall, while the expenditure on books about fiction and health grew steadily, the opposite was true for
those about politics.

Concerning spending on books classed as fiction and health, albeit in the same pattern, more increment
was found in the former. Starting at about 25 US dollar in 1995, the amount of money used for fiction
books increased to over $100 and nearly $2000 in 2000 and 2010 respectively before reaching $5000,
marking a roughly 20000% increase. Although the initial figure for health-related counterparts was 5
times as much as that for fiction books, the 2014’s figure was only $1000 higher than that for books about
fiction.

As regards books about politics, they were the most popuilar types in 1995, after which was followed by a
drastic decline. At the end of 2014, the number fell to somewhere in the region of $50 , which equaled a
decrease of 2400%.
