PERSPECTIVE: For the various activities of industrial and domestic compressed gas cylinders are
being used. These compressed gas cylinders possess hazards and these compressed gases can
cause fires, explosions, oxygen deficient atmospheres, toxic gas exposures as well as the innate
physical hazard associated with cylinders under high pressure. Special precautions related to
storage, use, handling of gas cylinders are necessary to ensure the safety of workers, equipment
and property. Because limited knowledge sharing related to compressed gas cylinder safety,
accidents are prone to happen. Hence, to reduce the accidents awareness on gas cylinder safety
becomes very much essential. This program will provide the guidance to the participants on the
significance of Safe use of gas cylinders in factories and plants.
OBJECTIVE: On completion of this program, the participant will be able to understand the legal
requirements, safety aspects and good practices for safe use, handling and transportation of gas
cylinders.
TOPIC: This 2 - hours video based virtual class room training program will cover following topics:
 Statutory Requirements related to gas cylinders Program Fee:
 Common non-compliances of gas cylinder safety Rs. 1250/- plus 18% GST (Total
 Good practices Rs. 1475/-) per participant

TRAINING METHODOLOGY: This program will be conducted in 2 hours video based session.
WHO SHALL ATTEND Technical persons from industries and professional institutions/ organisations
(Maintenance Engineers /Supervisors, Technical Services, Engineers, Safety Professionals, etc.)
