1.1 Introduction

Hi-MATE is a state-of-the-art system which provides users with full information of machines such
as location, operation and fault and maintenance information through satellite and mobile. This
manual is produced to help users understand and use Hi-MATE2.0, Remote Management System by
Hyundai Construction Equipment. This user manual is intended for customers. It contains
descriptions of general screen configuration, features and data from Hi-MATE2.0.

1.2 System Recommendations

(1) Hardware
Support any device such as IBM Compatible, Mac, Tablet PC
- CPU: 1.2Ghz
- Memory : at least 2GB (higher then 4GB Recommendation)
- HDD : 1GB (user space) (5GB recommendation)
- Display : at least 1024X768
(*) Hi-MATE was developed to fit for 1024X768 pixels.
Therefore, we recommend resolving power of 1024X768 pixels or more. If hardware falls short of
this level, scroll bars will appear on the screen

(2) Software
OS : Hi-mate does not depend on Operating System,
Browser :
 IE : Higher than 10
 Chrome : Higher than 50
 Firefox : Higher than 3.5
 Safari : Higher Than 3.2
 Others (support html5 specification)

(3) Mobile
- Adroid : Higher than 4.0
- iOS: Higher than 7.0

(4) Network connection


This system should be connected with internet. As per internet capacity, speed of 1Mbps or more is
recommended for smooth printing of maps matching the screen

There are 2 ways to get access to Hi MATE.

1.3.1 Key in Hi MATE URL


Enter “https://himate.hhi.co.kr//login.aspx” in the URL field as below. Please be warned that you
should not enter “http://himate.hhi.co.kr//login.aspx”. You can’t find Hi MATE website with “http”.
Please do not miss “s”.

This is the first screen users see when they try to get access to Hi MATE. Only users who have
registered and certified can log in through this page. If ID or password is forgotten, Users can move
to a page where they can find out ID or password.

1.5 New User Registration
A customer owning a machine can register directly as a new user without dealer’s approval. If the
contact information (E-mail and mobile number) are already registered in Hi MATE system, the
registration will be refused.

2.1 Screen Configuration
Hi-mate 2.0 was intended for users to view all the machine information at a glance.
When you search with a desired topic on top of the screen, you will see
- The location of the machine on the map in the middle of the screen.
- The statistics information of the searched machines on the left.
- Result list on the bottom.
Before search, you will see empty map, list, and Dashboard.
Detail information of each machine is available by clicking each serial number, same as Hi-mate 1.0

2.1.1 Main Screen


Hi-MATE 2.0 consists of map, search bar, dashboard and List. They are synchronized so that users
can search specific machines and find them on the Map, List and Dashboard.

2.2 Search
Hi-MATE 2.0 has 3 search menus, Basic, Alarm and Maintenance. Each menu has different search
conditions that enable users to get preferred information quickly. Find any machine in any
condition.

2.2.1 Basic Search


Basic Search allows users to search with various search conditions. It offers general conditions such
as fleet, customer, type, model and so on.

2.2.2 Alarm Search
Alarm Search is similar to how Basic Search works. By clicking on the Search Screen, the
screen will be switched to Alarm Search. It offers many search conditions related to Alarm code
such as SPN/FMI, Alarm Level, Alarm Type, and Period.

2.2.3 Maintenance Search


Maintenance Search is also similar to how Basic Search works. By clicking on the Search
Screen, the screen will be switched to Maintenance Search. It helps users plan maintenance work
and offers Maintenance History. It enables users to track a preferred item that needs to be
replaced or are overdue.

2.3 Dashboard
All statistical information on Dashboard is based on searched machines. It is synchronized with the
result of search. All items on Dashboard at first login are based on all machines (In service).
Uncheck the box saying “Dashboard / Sync with Search” if you don’t want to synchronize
Dashboard and Search.

① Setting Dashboard It indicates the number of items being used and Dashboard
total. Users can open the configuration screen by Screen
clicking on this area.

You can use the arrow keys on the keyboard or
mouse scroll wheel to see them as you go.
It is able to change each item’s position by
dragging and dropping.

You can customize your own Dashboard with preferred items.

2.3.2 Dashboard Items

2.3.2.1 Current Fleet

Current Fleet indicates the number of machines in service, scheduled to end, and without some
essential information (Delivery report, Customer information or Service period). Users can access
more details by clicking ‘Due to end’ and ‘Omission’ respectively.

2.3.2.2 Work Efficiency
Work Efficiency could be a good method to understand the productivity of machine(s). It shows
monthly work efficiency in a year and daily work efficiency in a month. Click on a tab on the top to
switch between monthly and daily average. You can compare the current year to the last year on
Monthly Average tab.
*Work efficiency = (E/G Hour-Idle Hour) / E/G Run Hour)

2.3.2.3 Engine Hours


It shows daily operating hours and monthly operating hours in a year. Click on a tab on the top to
switch between monthly and daily average. You can compare the current year to the last year on
Monthly Average tab.

It shows the number of occurrences on each alarm type on the top line. On the bottom line, codes
that directly affect engine operation are indicated.

It shows average operating days for the last month.
Ex) ‘11-15 Day : 107 EA’ means you have 107machines that operated 11~15 days

2.3.2.6 Maintenance
It shows the number of consumable parts that needs to be replaced soon and missed the
maintenance interval. Below the Overdue/Impending indicator, detailed information on each case is
shown up to 10 cases.

Machine List is a result of Basic Search. It offers general information such as Model, Serial No,
Hourmeter, Customer, and so on. To open a machine detail screen of each machine, click on Serial
No. colored blue. To find a location of each machine on the map, click the location colored blue.

maintenance work on each item or case. Also, it helps your service plan by offering maintenance

3.4 Fleet Management
It enables users to set multiple machines as one fleet. All search conditions on Search or Apps offer
Fleet search condition so that users can find them quickly and easily. Change setting or manage
multiple machines at once by using Fleet Management.

3.4.1 Manage Fleets


It shows fleet list on the left. If you click each fleet, the machine list set as each fleet will be shown
on the right. Click on New to create a new fleet, and click on Add to add machines to an existing
fleet.

*To reflect your fleet settings right away, you should click the ‘x’ icon on the title bar, not ‘x’ icon
on the address bar.
