MEMORANDUM OF POINTS AND AUTHORITIES

2 1) First Middle Last, (Last Name), is hereby demanding this court to dismiss the

3 case for lack of complaint.

4 2) Georgia Code – Motor Vehicles & Traffic – Title 40, Section § 40-13-2(look up
statute for your state) states:
5 The board of Public Safety, by rule and regulation, shall establish a system of
6 accountability for all traffic citations and complaints, and it shall also provide the
7 procedure governing the use and issuance of such citations and complaints.

19 The original citation and complaint shall be sent by the officer issuing it to the
20 traffic violations bureau of the court within 24 hours of the arrest. The defendant
named in the citation shall be given the second copy. The officer issuing the

citation and complaint shall retain one copy for himself or herself, and the court
22 may, by order, provide that an additional copy shall be made for the use of any
23 municipality in the county or the Department of Driver Services.
