Unscrew the “Load Sensing’ pump fixing bolts, then remove the pump, - For reinstallation, carry out the operations described from step (1) to step (3) in reversed order. = Check oil level in the tank (see paragraph OIL. FOR THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM, chapter INTRODUCTION). If necessary, fill it up (about 0.5 litres), then check the setting pressure of both the pump valves and the main directional control valve, and finally check the system for any leakage 5 - REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF COMPONENTS REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF THE POWER STEERING [17] 1) Remove the middle part of the dashboard from the cab. Before removing the power steering, you are advised to mark the position of each hose, so as to make their reinstallation easier. Disconnect all hoses from the power steering. 2) Remove the fixing bolts that secure the power steering to the steering column. 3) Pull the power steering downwards, then take it out. 5 - REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF COMPONENTS - For reinstallation, carry out the operations described from step (1) to step (3) in reversed order. - Check oil level in the tank (see paragraph OIL FOR THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM, chapter INTRODUCTION), then check the system for any leakage. 5 - REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF COMPONENTS REMOVAL OF THE STEERING DIRECTIONAL CONTROL VALVE [18] 1) Before removing the steering directional control valve, you are advised to mark the position of each hose, so as to make their reinstallation easier. Remove the hoses from the steering directional control valve: plug each hose after disconnecting it from the directional control valve. 3) Remove the fastening screws of the steering directional control valve. NOTE !!! Two people are required for this operation. 5 - REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF COMPONENTS 4) Take the directional control valve out of the "fastening screws to remove it. For reinstallation, carry out the operations described from step (1) to step (4) in reversed order. © Check oil level in the tank (see paragraph OIL FOR THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM, chapter INTRODUCTION), then check the system for any leakage. REMOVAL OF THE DIRECTIONAL CONTROL VALVE OF THE FRAME LEVELLING SYSTEM [69] 1) Before removing the directional control valve, you are advised to mark the position of each hose, so as to make their reinstallation easier. 2) Remove both the hoses and the metal tube from the directional control valve; plug each hose after disconnecting it from the directional control valve. 5 - REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF COMPONENTS 3) Remove the fastening screws of the directional control valve. NOTE !1! Service of regulation system for stand-by pressure () Slider (Washer (2) Spring guiding pin (5) Regulation group @ Spring - Unscrew the stand-by pressure regulation group ©). 5 - REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF COMPONENTS Remove the stand-by pressure regulation group (5); with the aid of a magnet extract in order, the spring guide (2) and the internal slider (1) Service of the pump maximum pressure regulation system () Slider (4) Spring (2) Spring quide (6) Washer @ Spring () Regulation group (2) Unscrew the regulation group (6). 5 - REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF COMPONENTS Remove the regulation group (6); with the aid of a magnet extract in order, the spring guide (2) and the internal slider (1). Removal of the DFR from the pump. Disconnect the pilot hose (A) from the DFR, and the four securing screws (B) of the pump. 5 - REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF COMPONENTS "CONTROLKIT" REGULATOR SERVICE (SAUER-DANFOSS PUMP) A WARNING!!! When carrying out the following operations on the machine, a certain amount of hydraulic oil could leak from the system. Prepare a suitable collection system to avoid polluting the earth and unnecessary waste.
