TASK 1
Picture of Ideal Home

Growing up in a family where going to church regularly isn’t a priority made me realize
that I never want my kids to grow up in the same situation. As I grow older, I taught myself that
it is my dream to build a family that is truly founded upon Christian values. I will build myself a
“Christ-centered home.”
A Christ-centered home is my ideal home. It is where my family prioritizes living under
the presence of the Lord. We act and speak to one another in the awareness that the Lord is a
participant in everything that we do. We always tend to do things that will be in accordance to
His will. Our family’s goals are founded upon His values and having faith with His plan in the
future for us.
Our home will be tempered with the acts of kindness, respect, humility, and love which
are some of the characteristics of our Father above. I will always teach my children to be aware
of what the Lord has done for us. We will never forget to thank Him, on both happy and sad
times. From beginning to end, we should always reflect our desires of seeing Jesus face to face.

TASK 2
Desired Type of Home

Growing up, my parents approached me with warmth, sensitivity, and setting of limits.
They have always showed us positivity while guiding me and my brother. Instead of punishing
us immediately, they let us explain our side in which we were able to address the problems and
solutions properly. In this case, it made us more open to our parents. That makes our home, an
authoritative home.
Living in an authoritative home made me realize that it will also be the best for my
family in the future. I must be ready to be responsive to my child’s emotional needs but still
setting limits. I should be all ears to their ideas and opinions, no matter what is it. But given the
fact that it is still within my standards as a mother.
There are lots of instances wherein parents decide for their children. It may be the
course to take, the type of phone to buy, or the set of clothes to wear. But as an authoritative
parent in the future, I am willing to listen to every choice they will give but still providing them
boundaries. I believe that this type of parenting will produce the best outcomes in children.

TASK 3
Qualities of Choosing a Lifetime Partner

God opens millions of

flowers without forcing the buds,
reminding us not force our way but
to wait for things to happen
perfectly in time. It simply indicates
that there is not need to rush.
Especially for the boys and girls who
are already trying so hard to engage
in a relationship at a very young age.
We must be patient enough
to wait because it will come in the
right time. It is not necessary to be
in a rush. Engaging in many
relationships then breaking up will
just result in many heartbreaks. God
has planned everything for us. Even
the right lifetime partners for us.
It is written as well in the
bible. According to 1 Corinthians
13:4, “Love is patient, love is kind. It
does not envy, it does not boast, it is
not proud.” It simply tells us the true
love will come at the right time, we
must always be patient.
