“Small talk” as the name suggests, could be defined as a naturally conversation in personal and
professional interactions.
Have you ever entered a room that was filled with people you had never met? How did you fill?
What did you do? Most people in such situation relies on the skill of “small talk” or relation talk”.
Some people don’t like “small talk” and would rather share deep thoughts for most of us “small talk”
about the weather, family matters, jobs, hobbies, sports or school.
It’s best to avoid talking about politics, sex, religion, money or too private_matters__which are
considered Taboo topics.
Well known English dictionaries give “small talk” definitions such as “light or relaxing conversation
(Chambers English Dictionary) “Casual conversation occurring (The Penguin Word Master Dictionary)
Talk about every day and unimportant matters (The Advanced Learner’s Dictionary). b

Most managers in large companies say they want to use advanced data analysis tools to remain
competitive. However, more than two-thirds of respondents have not yet taken any steps in this
direction.
Nearly three-quarters of organizations (72%) agrees that analytics help them generate valuable
insight and 60% say their analytics resources have made them more innovative. A third of
respondents’ said that it is used tactical projects only. The responses suggest that companies
know analytics can help them, but they lack a clear and common understanding of the benefits
of using a platform well-know across the enterprise and the analytic life cycle.
On the other hand, some business developers are quite aware. For example one who declares
‘Artificial intelligence is no longer a niche phenomenon and I think it will grow more and in the
years to come’.
