Answer:
Dear Mr. Gazeley,
I’m Steven Tufo from Italy, enrolled in the General Management course at The State
University campus last month. I just shifted here last week.

I am writing this letter explaining the concerns regarding the accommodation provided
during my study period for the abroad course.
I am writing this letter explaining the concerns regarding the accommodation provided at
your university. The accommodation offered has the broken floor with filthy curtains and
sofas. The windows doesn’t close properly and the surroundings are crowded with hustles
and bustles of the traffic which is a huge disruption in my studies.

Myself Steven Tufo from Italy, enrolled in the General Management course at The State
University campus last month. I shifted here last week and realized that the offered
accommodation is in the middle of the city. The surroundings are crowded with the hustle
and bustle of traffic.

I was aware that the in-campus hostel is not available, and I must stay outside. However, I
was expecting the arrangement on the countryside which is at a walk able distance from the
university.
I was expecting a clean and hygienic accommodation in a quiet place, possibly in the corner
side. I’m also okay if I have to travel for a few miles. Also, an accommodation with study
furniture would be highly appreciated.

Since, my course is starting from next week in a full pace, I need to start concentrating on
my studies. Hence, I would suggest shifting me to the facility near the campus as soon as
practical.
My course is getting started from the next week in full pace, it would be difficult for me to
concentrate on my studies while staying here. Therefore, I humbly request you to figure out
a better place for me to stay.
Looking forward to hear from you.

Thank you,
Steven

More and more people are migrating to cities in search of a better life, but city life
can be extremely difficult. Explain some of the difficulties of living in a city. How can
governments make urban life better for everyone?
Answer:
Migration from countryside to urban areas in search of better lifestyle is trending nowadays.
Where on one side, it provides good employment opportunities, there are several issues
such as higher rents, expensive education and pollution. Proper regulations enforced by the
government can be an effective solution.
Migrating from countryside to urban areas in search of a better lifestyle has been a
fascinating tale since long. Where on one side, it provides good employment opportunities
and public amenities, on the other hand, there are several difficulties such as higher rents,
expensive education and frightening pollution. It’s anticipated that governments can play a
key role to make urban life a better place for everyone.

One of the many issues of living in a city is the increasing population which further
increased the demand of buildings for residential and commercial purposes. Due to this, the
real estate prices are skyrocketing making it difficult for the people to rent or buy a house in
metropolitan areas. Additionally, increasing neck to neck competition calls for good
education which is mostly offered by expensive private educational institutions which is not
affordable by everyone. Secondly, pollution is the vital issue in the overcrowded areas
which is responsible for health problems related to heart congestion.

One of the major issues of living in a city is the constantly increasing population. Due to
growing demand for residential and commercial spaces, the real estate prices are touching
sky. It eventually makes it difficult for residents to live. Additionally, increasing neck to neck
competition calls for competitive education which is mostly offered by expensive private
educational institutions. Secondly, pollution is the grave concern in the overcrowded areas
which results in many health problems.

This problem can be combated by the active involvement of the government. Higher
authorities should regulate the prices of the properties and residential condominiums should
be constructed to be provided to the residents at an affordable rate. Also, schools and
universities can be managed by government to provide educational facilities at a cheaper
rate. Also, to reduce the pollution rate, electric vehicles and public transport facilities can be
introduced.
This problem can be fixed by the active involvement of the government. Higher authorities
should regulate the prices of the properties and residential condominiums should be
constructed to provide an affordable living space for residents. Moreover, schools and
universities can be managed by government to provide quality educational facilities at an
economical price. Also, to reduce the pollution rate, electric vehicles and public transport
facilities can be introduced and trees can be planted to make the place greener.
To summarize, it is difficult to afford the basic needs of human living in the cities because of
the higher expenses. Effective policies to maintain increasing inflation rate can be viable.
Quite evidently, we can conclude saying that it’s indeed difficult for most migrants to live in
the cities which gives rise to slum areas. Effective regulatory policies from government can
help making cities affordable for everyone.
