1.0 INTRODUCTION
The environment is a precious God's gift to the well-being of life. Humans rely
heavily on natural resources on this earth. God has created this universe balanced for
human prosperity. The vast earth is home to humans, vegetation as a source of food and
medicine to life, as well as many different species of animals and animals in the ocean.
The undamaged environment gives us a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. Besides
providing comfort to humans, it will also be affected by some of the country's
development activities if the environment in our country is not well-maintained.
Among the main causes that can cause environmental pollution in Malaysia at a critical
level is the result of human hands. Typically humans often pollute the environment in a
state of consciousness or unlike air, water, soil, sound and radiation.

2.0 THE SOURCE OF ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION

2.1 Individuals and Organizations

The individual's attitude is arbitrarily throwing out rubbish. Whereas for
organizations such as factories that carry out production operations that involve
toxic waste in their production, the plant will usually take easy steps when
disposing of the toxic waste directly into the sea and the river if the plant is
erected close to the area. This will result in pollution of water and factories that
release smoke without the installation of an air filter will cause air pollution.
This is due to the irresponsible attitude of individuals and plant owners who are
sensitive to the environment surrounding the outcome of their own
environmental pollution.

2.2 Factory Entrepreneur Attitude

The factory operators do not meet the standards. This is because every factory
that combusts and produces excessive smoke and contains carbon monoxide
will cause a negative impact on the environment, this is quoted from the
Utusan Malaysia newspaper; PULAU PINANG 15 August - After the illegal

dumping of wooden dust in Kampung Sungai Lembu, Penanti was charged

2.3 Open Burning

This is evident in the case of commercial waste combustion such as tires,
branded shoes, old trees in fields and forests for replanting purposes. In
addition to destroying the flora and fauna lives around it. As a result of open
burning carried out that ultimately leads to environmental pollution and thus
affecting human life and health.

3.0 STEPS TO ENJOY THE ENVIRONMENT

3.1 Role Of Mass Media

In this context, the role of the media is crucial in determining how people are
constructing the environment while helping them to engage in environmental
discourses. Humans need to know about the increasingly contaminated
environment and what they are supposed to do to safeguard the environment.
Newspapers and magazines are widely disseminated media about
environmental pollution issues. Full Article:

3.2 Environmental Campaign

Environmental campaigns that can be done are the beloved campaign of our
rivers, recycling campaigns, nature companions and so on. In this campaign,
activities such as flowering plants and cleaning of dirty areas can be carried
out. The planting of flower trees can not only beautify the environment but can
restore the greenness of a place and prove the importance of green life in the
world.

3.3 Education and Appreciation

Early education on the task and responsibility of protecting the environment
begins with the age of children being taught that this nature is not theirs but is

shared with other people. In Japan, Korea and Taiwan are the best examples of
the importance of safeguarding the environment by linking those
responsibilities to their respective faiths or religions.
Environmental Education also refers to a planned effort to educate the
community whether formal or otherwise so that the well-being and survival of
the community and the environment are preserved and sustainable.

4.0 CONCLUSION

Earth is the only one that can free liberate ecosystems and organisms. It is the
responsibility of every individual to uphold the grace of God as best as possible to avoid
contaminating, environmental problems such as global warming, landslides, soil erosion.
Many problems will arise as a result of human actions (Gardner & Stern 2002). Changing
the attitude of the community to filling the noble values and appreciating the beauty of
the environment should be the basis of harmony and understanding that a clean
environment will produce a healthy and high potential citizen in the future, This matter is
emphasized by lecturers from Universiti Malaysia Malaysia (UKM), Prof. Datuk Dr.
Mazlin Mokhtar.
