C. Writing: Compare and Contrast Essay (77 Points)

The company needs to fill a work unit, therefore it is very important to know the types of talents
needed by the company making it easier to gather the best candidates with the appropriate talent.
The talent needs of the company usually are directly proportional to the company's core
principles such as vision and mission, branding, and corporate culture.

There are two very different thoughts in recruiting talent, the first is that some people think that
companies must recruit people who are innovative and able to work independently and
the second is that some other people think they should recruit people who can work in teams and
follow instructions. In my opinion, this recruitment thought depends on the needs of the
company. Companies have different needs, for example now more and more startups embrace a
dynamic work system to work smartly with a focus on the abilities of individuals who are
required to be able to work independently. The average talent works independently is more
innovative and familiar with the latest technology, they work creatively and outside of standard
habits. The company also does not overload regulations so that talent can think and work well
and quickly follow the company start-up culture while some other companies still need the talent
to work in teams and follow instructions, for example in some companies holding the principle
that teamwork is an important key in creating an environment comfortable and conducive work.
Collaborating in a team means sharing the load equally according to their respective abilities.
Working following strict standard operating procedure instructions is a must to respect the
existing bureaucracy.

The two different ideas have in common, namely the company both want to recruit quality talent
following the principles and corporate culture.

Finally, I can conclude from the discussion above that it has advantages and disadvantages that
are tailored to the needs of the recruiting company. Some people think that work must be
together and follow the rules to be directed and some others think that work can be on their own
to be easy to focus and be results-oriented without rules. We cannot require that all companies
have the same thought because the company has a different vision and mission.

Good Luck
