Gallagher Controller 6000 – Extended Support to 2031

In 2017, Gallagher announced our intention to support the Controller 6000 in Command Centre until
at least 1 January, 2027. This intention was based on the confidence that Gallagher had in the
Controller 6000’s hardware robustness, and in the software features regularly added to keep it
relevant with the latest customer needs.

Since that time, Gallagher has continued to make investments in the Controller 6000 functionality,
including the significant controller upgrade to the Linux-based Operating System. We have also seen
a continued reduction in Controller 6000 product fault returns, the result of ongoing component and
manufacturing improvements.

As a result, Gallagher is now pleased to announce that we are extending our intention to support the
Controller 6000 to at least 1 July, 2031. This means Gallagher intends to support this controller in
Command Centre and provide technical support until this date as a minimum. While unforeseen
component obsolescence can impact product lifecycles, we believe stating this intention will provide
customers reassurance on the longevity of their Controller 6000 investment.
