9 – 12 - The essay is complete and structured into paragraphs but there is not a
good balance among them in term of lengths.
- The vocabulary and structures are limited.
- The argument is well supported with just one example of personal
experiences.
- Ideas are coherently linked with appropriate transition words.
- There are no more than seven (07) linguistic errors (grammatical or
lexical).

5 –8 - The essay is not complete and not structured into paragraphs.


- The vocabulary and structures are very limited.
- The argument is not supported with personal experiences.
- Ideas are not linked with each other. There is no evidence of using
transition words.
- There are more than 7 linguistic errors.
