Pedagogy

Activity Students will be asked to come sit on the rug in front of the
interactive white board for the lesson. The teacher and the
students will briefly discuss the differences between goods and
services, as well as producers and consumers using the two
lessons (linked below). The teacher will share the two mini
lessons relating to goods and services with the students on the
interactive white board. Students will have a general idea of
what goods and services are, but they will practice sorting
different goods and services with this interactive white board
activity to become familiar with the terms. One student will
come up at a time and select a good or a service. They will then
drag the good or service selected to the corresponding side.
Throughout the activity the teacher will pause and ask the
students questions about the goods and services on the board
that will test their knowledge about producers and consumers.
For example, “Josh, you selected barber and drug it to the
services side. Is that barber a producer or consumer of that
service?”
