Let Us Learn!

Great day, Grade 12 learner! Welcome to PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT/

PANSARILING KAUNLARAN course subject. Here you are going to cross yourself a bridge
from doubt to know, you will have better understanding and knowing of yourself and
others.

As you cross yourself a bridge from doubt to certainty you will have a better
understanding of yourself and others here. It is vital for you to know yourself first in
order to know others, as Greg Hiebert, the author of The Seven Habits That Make a
Remarkable Life says, you cannot give what you do not have, and from an old Chinese
Chan (Zen) saying, you cannot fill the cup with water if you’re not empty.

May you have a helpful and significant journey of discovering yourself as you
follow through the process offered to you in this material.
At the end of this learning process, you will be able to:

 explain that knowing oneself can make a person accept his/her strengths and
limitations and dealing with others better.

Specifically, learners should be able to:

a. recognize their strengths and weaknesses based from the Johari window
diagram;

b. discover ways on how to build up strengths and cope up limitations; and

c. share their unique habits, characteristics and experiences.
