 Students
o Students will engage in 2 hours and 15 minutes of synchronous instruction for each of the following five classes
(Science, Social Studies, Math, English Language Arts, and Related Arts) in a week, resulting in 11 hours and 15
minutes of synchronous instruction per week.
 The first two weeks of instruction will have a heavy emphasis on social-emotional learning (SEL)
components as students adjust to the new virtual schedule and reconnect with teachers/classmates.
o Students are expected to login to each class, each day by 11:59pm and do not need to be present for
synchronous lessons if their schedule does not allow for it. All live lessons will be recorded and available on the
Schoology platform.
 Attendance will be taken through Schoology and transferred to Infinite Campus.
o 45 minutes of office hours/tutoring will be offered for each of the following five classes (Science, Social Studies,
Math, English Language Arts, and Related Arts) in a week, resulting in 3 hours and 45 minutes of office
hours/tutoring per week. Participating in office hours/tutoring is optional and as needed by students.
o Students will be held accountable for learning that takes place during scheduled classes in which Synchronous
Instruction is taking place.
o Students will also engage in 45 minutes of Personalized Learning Time each day between 9:00-9:45 where they
will receive supports such as Social/Emotional Learning, Academic Interventions, and Counseling.
o Students should dress appropriately while they are in live sessions.
