German Short Row Tutorial

German short rows are simple to execute, and are nearly imperceptible in your fabric—give them a try! You can also find
very helpful instruction for German short rows by searching in Ravelry and on YouTube.

Step 1. Knit the required number of stitches.
Step 2. Turn the work, and ensure that the working yarn is
at the front of the work.
Step 3. Slip your last stitch worked from the left needle to
the right needle, purlwise.
Step 4. Pull firmly on the working yarn upward and to the
back of the work, creating a double stitch (DS).
Step 1. Purl the required number of stitches.
Step 2. Turn the work, and move the working yarn
between the needles and to the front of the work.
Step 3. Slip your last stitch worked from the left needle to
the right needle, purlwise.
Step 4. Pull firmly on the working yarn upward and to the
back of the work, creating a double stitch (DS).
