RBS6000 Integration procedure on GSM

CREATING INSTALATION DATABASE (IDB)

Launch the OMT as below

Click on CONFIGURATION and select <CREATE IDB>

Click <delete> at lower right hand side under the <Cabinet Setup>

Note: this clears the history (if exist)

Click on <new> upper right hand side under the <cabinet Setup>

Drop down to select the required of the following and click <OK>

a. Cabinet Type

b. Power System

c. climate system
Click <NEW> under <Antenna Sector Setup>

Drop down to select the required <number of sectors> as below

Click on <RE setup>; Drop down to select the required <Number of TRXs> as shown below

Click OK OK to get the view below

Click OK , and then check the box <Run RBS Configuration wizard> as shown below

Then click OK to get the view below and select NO

Then select YES to see as below

Select the required shelves and slots depending on the configuration and band.

Click OK to see below

Note: for the master DUG, do the following

Drop down to select the required <Hub position> as shown above (B1).

Click on <external Nodes> ,<Add Nodes>, then drop down from <Hub Address> to the subsequent
ones ( e.g A5,A6 ) depending on the number of DUGs required. see below
Click OK : this confirms the added external nodes (see view below)

Click OK , then select the required <MCTR Configuration> as shown below ( Note: this depends on
the configuration and must be confirmed from the BSC)
Do the following for the subsequent views

Define CPRI Parameters : click OK

Define RBS HW info: click CANCEL

Define Loss for FEED_RXB 0: click CANCEL

Define Loss for FEED_RXB 1: click CANCEL

Define Loss for FEED_RXB 2: click CANCEL

Define Loss for FEED_TXA_RXA 0: click CANCEL

Define Loss for FEED_TXA_RXA 1: click CANCEL

Define Loss for FEED_TXA_RXA 2: click CANCEL

Define Delay for FEED_ RXB 0: click CANCEL

Define Delay for FEED_ RXB 1: click CANCEL

Define Delay for FEED_ RXB 2: click CANCEL

Define Delay for FEED_TXA_RXA 0: click CANCEL

Define Delay for FEED_TXA_RXA 1: click CANCEL

Define Delay for FEED_TXA_RXA 2: click CANCEL

After completing the stages above, click OK in the view below

Confirm the <TEI Value> from the BSC Engineer and input as below and then click OK

Drop down the <inlet usage> to select <Smoke Alarm> as shown below
Click <Apply> on the view below

And then click YES below (this activates the inlets shown below)
And click OK in the view below

Click <CANCEL, CANCEL> in the views below

Put the DUG on local/maintenance mode and then click YES in the view below (this automatically put
connect the CONNECT the OMT and INSTALL the IDB)
Allow the IDB to install until you see the view below

Drop down as below and select <present RUs> and highlight to make them present and then click OK
