We Start from the Existing Cabinet. Save the Installation DataBase (IDB) of the Existing Cabinet. In this Cas
Create a Folder Namely OLD IDB and Save the IDB in it.

After Saving IDB Disconnect the OMT

Determining TX Delay

Configuration ---> Define ---> Delay <-'


Double Click ESB
Don’t Enter Any Value. It Should Be ZERO
Double Click on FEED_TXA_RXA 0 and Enter the DETERMINED Delay

Example:- The Determined Value is 144


Repeat this for all 6 PRU's and then Close
Right Click PCM and Select Define PCM

Change Network Topology from "Stand alone" to "Cascade"


Changed to "Cascade" and Press OK ( OK <-' )
Double Click ESB
Delay Should Be ZERO
Configuration ----> Define ----> TF Compensation Value <-'

Yes <-'
Change RBS 200 To RBS 2000
Don’t Apply , Just NOTE DOWN "Slave Transmitter Chain Delay (S)"
eg:- Slave Transmitter Chain Delay

and Press Escape (Cancel <-' )


OR
Double Click RBS2000
Slave Transmitter Chain Delay (S): 18026 ns
After taking Permission from BSC Switch to LOCAL Mode
Remember you Disconnected OMT after Saving Old IDB , so Connect again and then Chan

and Now Install


After Installation Switch Back to Remote Mode
Also Save This New IDB
eg:- Make a New Folder Namely Up Grade IDB
nect again and then Change to Local Mode
Now We Switch to the New Cabinet 1800 (in this case RBS2206)

1 Connect
2 Create IDB
3 Determine TX Delay

Configuration ----> Create IDB <---'


Press Yes <---'
Press No <----'
Note the Values for 1800

Configuration ---> Define ---> Delay <-'


This Time You Will Enter Value In ESB, Which is Fix (4628) <--'
Double Click on FEED_TXA_RXA 0 and Enter the DETERMINED Delay

Repeat this for all 6 PRU's and then Close


By Clicking "Define Present RU's" , the last button , u can Define Present RU's (just by Double Clicking on that Specif

U can Confirm ur Selection from "Cabinet 0"

Select "Cabinet 0" then Right Click "DXU" and Click "Define TEI..."

Now Enter Value i.e., 61 , this value is 62 for RBS2207 (900)

Change The Value To 61 and Close
Configuration -----> Define ----> TF Holdover Mode <---'

TF holdover mode should be Intra Cell


Configuration ----> Define ----> TF Compensation Value <-'

Enter the Value of "Master Transmitter Chain Delay (M)"

Now Enter the "Recommended TF Compensation (TF)" Value in "Current TF Compensation" Value and

Also Note Down this Value As it Will Be Confirmed By BSC
