A. Reviewing previous lesson or presenting the new lesson
 Question
 The teacher will ask student to describe in the class in detail
something he did over the weekend. The teacher will call
someone to retell the first student’s story in his own words.

C. Presenting examples/instances of the new lesson


 Base on the activity the teacher will ask the following questions:
 What have you observed on the sentences?
 How do you find the activity?
 From the given activity, for you, what will be our lesson for
today?
 Paraphrasing – involves taking a set of opinions or facts and rewording
them.
- Rewriting a sentence or passage in your own words.
Example: The great library had many books.
Paraphrase- the large library housed several books.
Note: You have to be careful when paraphrasing a text or passage
because you might be accused of plagiarism. The teacher will
discuss plagiarism and cite examples of people who are accused.

 The teacher will group the class into two. Each group must
paraphrase the given sentences. The group who can finish
correctly in just a short period of time will be the winner.
