Directions: Below are the indicators that describe the Work Immersion Program Delivery

1.1 Placement of Student

a. The school ensures that the specializations of the student-


trainees are appropriate and relevant to the work
immersion partner institution.
b. The school has sufficient partners to implement the work
immersion program.

among student-trainees.
d. The student-trainees are being prepared by the School’s
Work Immersion Committee prior to the actual work
immersion.

1.2 Work Immersion Delivery Process


a. The school ensures that the work immersion venues for
learning are conducive to the education and safety of the
student-trainees.

b. The School’s Work Immersion Committee selected


industry partners that are appropriate and relevant to the
strand/course offerings of the school.
c. The school conducts an orientation for students and
parents on the process of work immersion program.
d. The content of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) is
properly and comprehensively discussed with the partner-
industries, work immersion teachers, parents and student-
trainees.
e. The Work Immersion Teachers validate all the documents
of the student trainees prior to actual work immersion.

f. The number of hours allotted for work immersion based on
the work immersion delivery models of DepEd is observed.
g. Insurance for student-trainees is charged to local funds
particularly (MOOE).
h. The Work Immersion Teachers conduct regular visits to
ensure the student-trainees’ activities are properly

i. The student-trainees provide feedbacks and reflections on
their daily experiences to provide inputs on the issues and
concerns on work immersion.
j. The Work Immersion Teachers and Partner Institution
Supervisors assess/evaluate the student-trainees
performance following the DepEd No.8,2015.
1.3 Monitoring and Evaluation
a. The work immersion teachers conduct regular visits to the
partner industries to ensure that learners’ activities are
properly implemented.
b. There is an appropriate tool to evaluate student- trainees’
performance in work immersion.
c. The school and partner industries have a clear
understanding on how the student-trainees’ performance
during the work immersion will be rated. (DepEd Order No.

d. The Work Immersion Teachers issue the student-trainees
Final Grade upon completion of the requirements within a
prescribed time.

placement, training, monitoring and assessment of student-

actual deployment.

memorandums especially those pertaining to child protection
policy of the student-trainees undergoing immersion

2.2 Relevance of Training and Mentoring

learners.

to enhance the learners’ technical knowledge and skills.

relevant learning experiences by giving them exposure to

3.1 Awareness of the Process and Guidelines of Work
Immersion

4.1 Work Immersion Environment
