PC (Planning Commission)
• PC is financial and public policy development
institute of the Government of Pakistan.
• It works under ministry of planning ,development and
reforms.
• In Pakistan, it was established in July 8, 1952
• Headquarters: Islamabad
• The chairman of this institute is Prime minister.
Objectives
 Economic planning.
 To increase per capita and national income.
 Higher level of employment.
 Reduction of inequalities in income distribution.
 Redressing imbalances in the economy
 Increase in Savings.
 Reducing poverty levels
 Provision of social services.

• PC-I:It is a project document which covers almost all aspects of
the project

• PC- II: It is a survey and feasibility report which is obligatory to


be annexed with PC-I.
• NOTE: PC-ii is prepared before PC-i because It is about survey and
flexibility of project.

• PC-III (A) : It is annually/quarterly progress reports on the


specified proforma.
• PC-III (B) : It is financial and physical progress to be submitted
on monthly basis.

• PC–IV: It is project closure report which is mandatory
to be submitted to P &D Department on the
completion of each project.
• PC – V : It is annual performance report which has to
be submitted to P & D Department after completion
of project for consecutive five years.

PPPRA & SPPRA
• PPPRA : Pakistan Public Procurement Regulatory Authority.
• The Public Procurement Regulatory Authority is an autonomous body
endowed with the responsibility of prescribing regulations and procedures for
public procurements by Federal Government owned public sector
organizations with a view to improve governance, management, transparency,
accountability and quality of public procurement of goods, works and
services. It is also endowed with the responsibility of monitoring procurement
by public sector agencies/organizations and has been delegated necessary
powers under the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority Ordinance 2002.
