Return to Learn Plan for 2020-2021 School Year

This  is  a journey we have all taken together and the reduction in our isolation does not signify its
end.  We  must  still  take  measured  steps  and  remain  vigilant  of  the  factors  that  nature  has
imposed  upon  us.  We  have  created  this  plan  and  based  our  revisions  on  new  knowledge  and
shifts  in  public  sentiment.  Outlined  in  the  “Return  to  Learn  Plan”  are  a  decision-making  matrix
and  guidelines  for  how  our  schools  will  conduct  day  to  day  operations.  Safety  above  all  is
preeminent  and  we  have  to  consider  that  safety  for  some  students  resides  within  the  four
classroom  walls,  and  for  others  we  have  to  extend  those  walls to the home. During this time we
ask  for  your  grace  and  patience  as  we  all  navigate  these  quickly  changing  circumstances. We all
long  for  a  normal  day  and  rest  assured  that  day  will  come.  In  the  interim  please  know:  the
situation  will  be  monitored  as  closely  as  possible,  you  will  be  informed,  and  action will be taken
swiftly and responsibly to protect the lives that are in our care.
