Rio isn’t the only city in Brazil that knows how to have parties. I live in Olinda, a
lovely city in north-east of Brazil. What can we say about the arrival of Olinda?
Jist that it is the best in the world.

Carnival has its origin in ancient Egyptian and Roman festivals, It was introduced
to Brazil by the Portuguese and wad influenced by African rhythms and Indiab
costumes. Now It is a big traditional celebration. Parades of people wearing
costumes typical of our north-eastern folk-lore dance through the streets. I love the
giant street dolls, both the traditional ones such as the man of midnight and the hew
ones that appear each year.

The best thing about the carnival is that no one has to pay anf there are no big stars.
Everyone takes part, rich and poor, old and young, residents and tourists. If you
come, I promise you’ll never forget it.

I’d like to have a new bicycle and its equipment that is required for
it, because it may be the only source of exercise for me during the pandemic
lockdown. It can also help me in getting to know more about them when I
start trying them.

I’m sure you agree that playing a sport is one of the best things a student
could do in their lifetime. As a school student myself, I would like to have an
experience about it. On top of that I would like to feel enjoyment from doing
the exercise alone.

In my opinion, cycling would change my life both physically and mentally

because it can help me lose weight and gain muscle strength slowly and it
would also improve my self-confidence and mental toughness.
