Summary Parts Wording Help Handout


This handout is designed to provide you with suggested ways to begin / write your sentences when
writing each of the three Annotated Bibliography Summaries. As the articles are different types it is
not possible to provide you with a ‘one size fits all’ template, instead you can make use of (if you
want to) some or all of the following sentence starters to ensure that each of the parts of the
summary are clear for you, the writer, and for the reader.
