Everybody hates noise pollution
WHAT IS?
It is a phenomenon that develops
especially in large cities and involves
the generation of very high levels of
noise or sounds that can be harmful
to the hearing health and well-being
of a person who is constantly
exposed to them.

EFFECTS IN HEALT
Hearing problems: Progressive hearing loss.
Sleep problems: Altered sleep cycle, insomnia,
drowsiness during the day, tiredness or
attention deficit.
Psychological problems: It causes irritability,
stress, anxiety, communication problems and
even aggressiveness.
Physiological problems: Increased heart
and respiratory rate.
CONCLUSION
The Guatemalan population is exposed to
noise above 100 decibels (dB) in the
cities of the country, when the human
ear can only withstand a maximum of
between 50 and 65 decibels, so it can
suffer irreversible damage to the
hearing system, like deafness.
