SOURCES OF NOISE POLLUTION
There ad many sources of noise pollution, but here are
some of the main ones:
➢Traffic noise: Traffic noise accounts for most polluting
noise in cities.
➢Construction sites.
➢Air traffic noise.
➢Play music at high volume.
SOLUTION OF NOISE POLLUTION
Turning off appliances when not in use, use of earplugs,
lowering off appliances when not in use, use of earplugs,
ring the volume, planting more trees, regular
maintenance of vehicle and machines.

➢The use of creativity in house and office layout

What is noise pollution
Noise pollution is unwanted sound that can have
deleterious effect on human health and environmental
quality. Noise pollution is commonly generated inside
many industrial facilities and some other workplaces, but
it also comes from highway, railway, and airplane traffic
and from outdoor construction activities.
Health effects on noise pollution
Noise pollution adversely affects the lives of millions of
people. Studies have shown that there are direct links
between noise and health. Problems related to noise
include hearing loss, excessive noise exposure can raise
blood pressure and pulse rates, cause irritability, anxiety,
and mental fatigue, and interfere with sleep, recreation,
and personal communication.
