NOISE-POLLUTION AIAS

Noise is defined as unwanted sound and


it is a form of air pollution which threat
to health and well-being.

Noise pollution can lead to hearing loss,


sleep disruption, cardiovascular disease,
social handicaps, reduced productivity,
negative social behavior, annoyance
reactions, absenteeism and accidents.

Types of Noise Pollution

Human activities : Construction, Mining,


Vehicles, crackers , Rallye’s ,Loudspeakers
etc.

Natural activities : Animals, Cloud bursting,


Storm, Rain, Volcanic eruption etc.

Causes of Noise Pollution :

 Uses of different kinds of gadgets at home


 Most of the industries use big
and workplace like TV, mobile, mixer
machines which are producing a large

Solutions to Minimise Noise Pollution
