Natural resource conservation
AIAS

Conservation is a process of rational use and skillful management and preservation of all
the natural resources for the future generation. Approach to a sustainable use of natural resources.

 Encourage the optimum utilization and restoration of natural resources.

 Require the implementation of systems for wastewater treatment before reuse or
disposal.
 Promote waste reduction, recycling and reuse of disposal.
 Opting and promoting green technology for the industrial manufacturing.

To save our environment and to maintain ecological

balance in nature, the natural resource conservation
rule of 3R’s should be implemented:

Reduce: Need to reduce the excess use of resources

when not required to avoid their wastage.
Recycle: The resources like plastic, paper etc. should
be recycled.
Reuse: Reuse of sources should be encouraged as it
will also conserve the resources.

Role of an individual in conservation
of natural resources AIAS

1. Prefer public transport.

2. Ride bicycle or just walk
instead of using scooter for a
short distance.
3. Grow trees near the house to
get cool breeze instead of using
AC and air cooler.
4. Switch off light, fan and
other appliances when not in
use
5.Always segregate the waste
as per the prescribed color
containers.
