To begin with, this quote already reflects nearly eighty percent of my thinking style and how I

manage my life 19 years so far. I would like to describe this quote in different aspects. First will

be directed to study and work. For myself, I think this quote, which is easy to digest, dictates that

life is not a heaven, obviously you do nothing you gain zero, but whenever you think it needs

100% effort, the reality shows 300%. In other words, up to this age or even higher, there will

tons of difficulties, barriers, haters… try to prevent you from doing your dream. Therefore, as

much as possible try to holding your dream, protect it.

Secondly, from the aspect of happiness, you may or may not influenced by this but in the well-

known movie called “The Pursuit of Happyness” played by Will Smiths, Chris Gardner, also

Will Smiths, has been really confusing that in Declaration of Independence, president Thomas

Jefferson once state about right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, “how did he know to

put the pursuit part in there?”. It is once again support the quote that happiness of each person

will be defined by their perception, behavior and especially attitude.

Thirdly, from the view of money, which is a sensitive aspect, the quote applies exactly its theory.

Collecting from the book that I have read three months ago called “Think and Grow Rich”, there

was a sentence that bare in my mind from the first time I read it. It was “If you truly DESIRE

money so keenly that your desire is an obsession, you will have no difficulty in convincing

yourself that you will acquire it. The object is to want money, and to be so determined to have it

that you CONVINCE yourself that you will have it.” on page 32. Hence, this world is not a

heaven or hell, this a setting that you can do whatever you want, the question is that how strong

and persistent you are. All in all, from my perspective so far, I believe that life is composed of

two words, which are fair and miserable. Therefore, you need to appreciate the present and

always hope about a bright future.

Mission and Vision

Since I was young, I was used to making people laugh by telling them jokes and tricks. Now, I

realize that I want to make people happy. Once watch “Shark Tank Vietnam”, I have perfectly

charming by this mission statement form Shark Nguyen Xuan Phu, which is currently chairman

of Sunhouse, big company manufactures kitchen gadgets. He once said that he only feels happy

when he sees people around he happy. I have been hugely inspired by that quote and it also fix

my perception of life too. Therefore, my mission is very simple. I will dedicate my life to make

my parents be happy, then my brother and finally myself. Family come firsts.

My vision is something more specific and clear according to my mission. In this part, I would

prefer it clear and simple. First is my business I am now running a T-shirt business, I take

responsibility for both brand T-shirt and group uniforms also. By the end of this year, I will do

my best to cover my brand on almost big universities and high schools. Second is my studying, I

will also do my best to get 8.0 GPA this fresh year and then maybe asking for joining the

exchange program if I am lucky. Thirdly, I dedicate all of my time to learning Ielts with a view

to going study abroad within the next year. As usual, people will have a long-run vision, but for

me a clear and short-run vision will fit my life and I love my mission so far.

SWOT Analysis

Strengths

Firstly, all I can assert that so far I have not so much strength. All of my strengths in my opinion

still in a develop process, it is not yet my skill, I need to keep learning a lot in the future.

Whereas, I have mentioned two things which are family-focused and half introvert controvert.

Naturally, I have a big crush on my family, my dad, my mom and my younger brother. We have

been a good time and bad time in life. I have a great appreciation and respect on both of them.

Half introvert and controvert also support me much form dealing with people and friends. All in

all, my strengths are something that I have to put huge effort on to improve it.

Weakness

One of my first and serious problem that I have in the past and now is that I am lack of

consistency due to my stubborn character. I cannot count how much plan that I have made in my

live so far, any none of them I neither finish or stick to it for a long time. The next is my

emotional, occasionally my thirty percent of my decisions are still contain my emotion, even the

decision evolve money and trust. I have to learn that emotion or EQ is very significant in life but

not in decision making, its can kill you immediately. The third one is fail to retain high focus,

there is sometimes I do have a crush on myself because when I doing something I PUT 200% on

the task, but the problem is I cannot hold my attention any longer. In other words, I am easy to

get boring. Then the last one evidently is one of my disadvantage that is I am very conservative,

which I always have my big documentary of rules and policies in my amazing brain, all of that I

was collected from my parents, life, friend and social. It true for me so far. In other words, old-

school boy is fix for me.

Opportunities

I really can assert that this part is amazing, it is true that initially I have picked lots of

opportunities, but I narrowed it down. First and foremost, undoubtedly, time and strength. The

Prime Minister of Singapore, Ly Quang Dieu, in the past has said “Give me one-year time of

your teenager period, I will pay you one billion dollar Singapore.”. Only from the moment I

heard of this, I significant realized that I am going to millionaire, not him, because plenty time I

have already now, the difficult here will be how I maximize it. To be honestly, I always want to

be a billionaire. The next I mentioned “fantastic learning setting”, to be honest, I have a big crush

on University of Economic, especially its talent program ISB. Not for me, but the world love

UEH also, as taken from University World News, Vietnam takes pride in UEH, which is

mentioned when they come to rank 1000 best business school in the world, they did prefer UEH

to Foreigner Trade University or other universities. The final thing will be my family. I always

have a feeling that I am very lucky due to what my family has provided for me, and for that, I am

going to something to payback for them in the future.

Threats

I am really scared of that one day everything I planned for the future will be gone, and the reality

come to punch me. In my life, especially short-run life, I always prepare for every situation, but

what if my weakness like “lack of consistency” will kill me one day? Therefore, I must be

steady, ready and fight for it. I am taking business course, furthermore is economic. Amazingly,

in 2018, at the time that I am struggle for choosing the school. I have read this from the Sai Gon

Giai Phong Online that the number is given from the government that there are up to 832,000 of

student in Vietnam only want to join economic school and learn business. Wow! That number

can literally say something. I afraid that my dream to become billionaire it must harder and

harder and I need to be strong or the worst can come is that jobless. The last thing is I don’t ever

ever want that when I looking back and keep wonder that why question “why don’t do this, why

don’t do that?” Therefore, I am now better not to waste my times on chilling and focus my

reality stated goal.
