Was it at all necessary for George to apologize to such a junior employee


like Satish?
Yes it is necessary for the George to apologize to Satish because he was new to the job which
he was not familiar with and he need time to understand the job. Saying sorry to junior
employee is not bad and specially when the mistake is yours, George being product manager
should know about their employee that Satish is newly appointed in this job and he need time
to understand.

2. If you were in Satish's place, how would you to respond to George's apology?
If I were in Satish place I would appreciate George, because in work there are circumstances
that employee have to go throw, and this will motivate employees to work even more harder.

3. Was George correct in saying that Satish is there to correct the "stupid mistake"
of his boss and George?
George was correct by saying the statement of stupid mistakes, Satish was hired to head office
because he was capable of, he should have prepared for the product meeting and should have
studied enough to answer the question asked by the George.

4. Would you employ George in your company?


Yes. I would employee George because he is well devoted to his work, as in the meeting he kept
questioning to the other managers about their product to get a brief out of it, secondly if he
make mistakes he knows how to solve them by apologizing to their employees

5. Did Preet make a mistake by not intervening during the meeting and correct
George's misconception about Satish?
Preet should not intervene George during the meeting because George is the boss and
interrupting him between the meeting is not good. Secondly Satish issue was not addressed if
preet intervene George, and Satish will not be taken in consideration of George .
6. As an HR man, how would you define the character of George - bullying but
later regretting? Does his attitude need to be corrected?
George should know everything clearly of his employees before any meetings or any
workshops. George is loyal to his work that’s why he got serious and talked in anger with Satish.
So later on he apologized and admitted his mistake. So loyalty is there.

7. Would you be happy to have George/Preet as your boss?


Yes I would be happy to have George as my boss because he is really concerned with his
employees, as in the case of Satish first he bully him because he was not good at the product
meeting and later on George apologize to Satish and that motivates the employee that their
boss is concerned with their work.
