At a conference

J: Guys, how did you like the conference?

A: I liked the conference. I didn't know that Bill Gates was one of the richest men in the world
C: I really liked what they talked about Bill Gates, because at the age 20 he created the
company Microsoft.

J: Let’s remeber everything about Gates. When and where was he born?
A: He was born on October 28, 1955 in Washington. Who was his partner and co-
funder of Microsoft?
C: It was Paul Allen, whom he met at the Lakeside Private School in Seattle. He left
company in 1983 because he had a serious illness.
J: Also Bill Gates at age 30, was named one of the 50 Most Wanted Singles by Good
Housekeeping. And he also a philanthropist.
C: Did he win a prize?
A: Yes, president George Bush recognized the importance of Gate’s work by awarding
him the National Meda lof Technology in 1992.

J: He is married?
C: Of course, he married to Melinda Gates .

J : How many children did the have ?

C: and they have a 3 children.

J: Together with his wife the created the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in 1955. It is the
largest private charity foundation in the world, dedicated to health and educational issues.

C: Did he visited Perú sometime?

A: Oh yes, i remember that in the fall of June 2007, he visited Cusco and our famous Inca
citadel Machu Picchu, Perú mains tourist attraction.

C: He is an incredible man, in June 2010 he started the campaign "The Giving Pledge" for the
richest men in the United States to donate 50% of their fortune.
