Screening process for Digital Marketing Profile

Step1: Creating a detailed job description and job title that will clearly state the job
responsibility. This should include the following points
 Candidate should MBA/PGDM/Bachelor degree in Marketing/Certified in Digital
Marketing from recognized institutes in India or abroad
 Specific digital marketing experience, if any required for the profile
 Culture fit
 Preferred authoring tools
 Upcoming project requirements
During this process a basic set of guidelines should be provided to the applicants. This
may include like proper Subject line (in case of email communication), providing
updated resumes/CV, and information about their experience in digital marketing,
amount of time an applicant can devote for the profile etc.
This descriptive information can be posted on the various job portals and interested
applicants can apply

Step2: Document Review of the Applicants


The document /applicants screening is performed by reviewing the details of the
applicants.
Suitability of candidature for the applicants will be decided by HRs based on the
applicant’s details
At this stage, ignoring those who didn’t follow application instructions.

Step 3: Email Interview Stage


This stage will access the candidate on basic concepts of digital marketing. Applicants
may be asked questions about current marketing tools and strategies
Digital marketing skills change and evolve rapidly and applicants are expected to upgrade
their knowledge and skill set on the cutting edge.
This step will witness maximum filtering out of the candidates
Step 4: Phone Interview Stage
As Stage 3 will witness weeding out a lot of people, the phone interview stage will be the
starting point of our scoring matrix.
Candidates will be assessed on in-depth questions during the telephonic interview
process. They will be informed about the position in depth. Assessment of the personality
will be a key feature apart from in-depth questions.

Experience/Past Activities :10%

Step 5: Video Interview and Assignment Allocation Stage


An interview meeting will be scheduled with the applicants. During the course of the
interview following points will be accessed about the candidate:
 Digital Presence: How an applicant creates online visibility for the company?
 Targeting Traffic: Is he able to generate useful information about the traffic on the
webpage? Able to target the potential buyers effectively?
 Audience Engagement Capabilities: How an applicant is engaging the audience
on the platform? How he is able improve audience retention?
 Generation of Lead: Is he able to generate leads for the company?
 Measurement/Analysis/Operational Efficiency: Analyzing Data generated by
online activities of customers to use in the benefit of the company.
 Remarketing Skills: Is he able to remarket the product in the online world?
 Task Execution Skills: Task on Digital marketing can be provided. Assessment on
that basis can be done to check his skills in real time
 Technical Knowledge and Analytical Tools: Knowledge of tools to be used in
digital platform
Two important points to check for the profile as follow:

 Social Reach: Candidates should be having a social reach. This is a add on to a


candidate profile
 Blogging Activity: If a candidate is involved in blogging activity, data statistics
can be gathered to assess a candidate. These are add-on activities in the screening
process

Step 6: Medical examination reports (Candidate should be of sound mind to work for the
organization) Social activity screening (Candidate should be not involved in any illegal
activities and should be legally permitted to work in country)
Step 7: Score calculation Matrix (This is only for those who cleared Step1, Step2, Step3)

background verification process before actual offer letter is issued by the company.
