A Postcard from Greece

The following postcard letter describes Helen’s holiday in a foreign country. Read the text and complete

Dear James,

This vacation is wonderful. I have arrived by ship to the island.

The island is beautiful and the weather is hot and sunny every day.
I have been here since Saturday and I have gone to Agios Sostis
beach.
I have taken a long swim and then I’ve sunbathed until noon. Next, I
have had lunch at a tavern on the beach. Also, I’ve met some boys
from Romania and we’ve played volleyball with some of the local
people. They are all very friendly.

In addition, I loved the hotel because it is fantastic, very modern, and
it also has a pool. I liked the town. Yesterday, I walked around and 1128 West Fourth Avenue
took some photos. Then, I went to Delos to visit the ancient ruins.
Finally, I went shopping and I bought you a nice present.

Dear Father

Im writing to you from Milano, Me and my friends arrived

two hours ago, we are now at the hotel, it is an old and
unique hotel in the downtown which is very lovely and
comfy. it’s been a great trip, we had a great week in
europe, we have visited france, we have spent two days
there in paris and marseille, we have visited the Louvre
museum, which is an amazing museam that contains a
huge amount of the most valuable masterpieces and
paintings ever. I liked the food there too. Then we went to
spain, we had a nice tour their for another two days , we
have visited Barcelona and valencia and sevilla the people
are very kind and friendly there, we have also visited the
camp nou stadium, that was unbelievable. At the end we
came to italy, we have been in venice, napoli , rome and
finally milano , what a beautiful country! , we had so much
fun here, we have tried almost every pizzeria here and of
course we have enjoyed the pefect italian gilato, it was the
best gilato ever, the nature is amazing here too. Tomorrow
morning we are going to the airport to come back home.
