As per the given business scenario, project goal is to develop a solution for Crayon
Pharmaceuticals to transform their business by implementing B2B and B2C customer
solution including SAP O2C (Order to Customer), Payroll, HRM (Human Resources
Management), Logistics, SCM (Supply Chain Management) and Siebel CRM (Customer
Relationship Management) solution.

2. Project statement document scope


The scope of the current project is a proposal which plans to develop a solution that can
handle business to business (B2B) and Business to customer (B2C) relationship efficiently.
For completing this project, Program Director, Program manager, Project Managers and
Program Steering Committee including GM for Retail, supply, Logistics, Customer Service and
Human Resources Team along with CEO and CIO of Crayon Pharmaceuticals should focus on
a number of activities such as R&D, qualification, production, delivery, and reporting, etc.

7. Project Objectives
o To develop Final Proposal Plan for Crayon Pharmaceuticals to develop a solution to
transform their business.

o To critically analyze the risks associated with the Final Proposal Plan.

o To suggest appropriate strategies to Crayon Pharmaceuticals for managing project in


efficient manner.

8. Inclusions
The project manager will include different techniques of project management such as
network diagram, Gantt chart, critical path and project schedule for developing an
appropriate plan.

9. Exclusions
Stakeholder’s expectation is a part of the project, but at present, it is outside the scope of final
proposal plan of Crayon Pharmaceuticals. So, all the expectations of stakeholders are excluded by
the manager at the time of developing the project plan.

10. Milestones
There are four Milestones of this project, these are:
o Completion of R&D
o Production completed
o Delivery completed
o Final Closing

11. Key Deliverables


An appropriate schedule or plan for final proposal project of Crayon Pharmaceuticals is the
primary deliverable for the current projection.

12. Key Risks


o Time management risk can occur because of the lack of time for managing a large number of
activities.
o Quality management risk can occur due to the low quality of raw materials so, the project
manager should analyze the raw materials and technologies before making the final contract
with suppliers.
o Financial risks can arise because of the lack of the fund or inappropriate management of
funds. But, Program Director of Crayon Pharmaceuticals will use Activity based costing or
project budgeting for managing finance.

14. Assumptions
Major assumptions of this project are as follows:
o No strike of employees
o No natural hazards during the project schedule

15. Constraints
Lack of time, cost, and experience among employee are considered as major constraints of
this project.

This project will require 18 months period for successful completion.
