In this project, we will be using the PMI Method which is documented into 5 process groups: initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing. This method
provides continuous patterns and agreements to apply to any project.
List the processes for integrated change control. How are changes assessed and implemented? Refer to document names linked to this Project Management Plan.
1st Step: Once the change is identified, it need to be formally communicated to all parts involved in the project for a deep evaluation.
2nd Step: Identify the change originator. It can be anyone, area or action that created a reaction, changing status of different aspect or zone.
3rd Step: Identify the impact of the change.
4th Step: Create a Change Request following the Project Management Plan.
5th Step: Perform integrated Change Control. Assessing the change answering the following question: How will the change affect the project limitations?
6th Step: Look for options. Sometime solutions are in simple and small actions which can avoid changing to whole project.
7th Step: Assess if the change is approved or rejected
8th Step: Document the change in change control system.
The sooner a change is identified, the less impact it will have on the project.
