● Turn the notebook upside down.


● Remove the battery (as per battery removal instructions).
● Remove two screws locking the CPU compartment cover, and then lift the cover up. Control Center

● Remove four screws fastening the heatsink. Country codes
● Disconnect the fanÆs power cord to free the heatsink from the CPU module.

Serial number:

● Insert a minus screwdriver 101 (JIS standard) into the Open hole of the socket, and push the screwdriver toward the CPU to free it.
● Now you can take out the CPU.
