Glenolden Cowl

Pick two highly contrasting colors and watch the bold graphic design of Glenolden emerge as you knit. This is a
“choose your own adventure” knitting project: you choose what type of cast on and joining method to use, and
you can vary the number of repeats you work of each chart to create a unique accessory.

COWL
Using your cast on of choice, cast on 126 sts. Join for working in the round, taking care not to twist stitches.
Place marker for beg of round.

Work Chart A for a total of 19 times, then work Chart B for a total of 9 times.

If you’d like your cowl to be the same the entire length (no reversal of colors), work either chart for a total of 28
repeats.
If you’d like your cowl to reverse halfway, work 14 repeats of each chart.

FINISHING
If you used a provisional cast on, slip those cast on stitches to a spare needle and graft the ends of the cowl
together.
If you used a standard cast on, bind off all stitches and sew the ends of the cowl together.
